San Diego Social Magazine Partners with Mission Valley YMCA and The Office Games to share their PRYDE.

San Diego, CA- In a show of their philanthropic efforts, San Diego Social Magazine has chosen to highlight a specific charity or non-profit association each month. For the month of September, in conjunction with Mission Valley YMCA and The Office Games, San Diego Social Magazine will sponsor a monthly get together for children involved in the YMCA-run PRYDE program at Montgomery Middle School.

The YMCA PRYDE program incorporates five distinct principles: Prevention, Recreation, Youth, Diversity, and Education. With a curriculum focusing primarily on developing positive self-esteem, character development, cultural awareness, and team sportsmanship, this after school program does wonders for the students involved.

Payam Manavi, owner and CEO of The Office Games, is thrilled to start the partnership. He graciously donated his computer gaming facility once a month to students of the PRYDE program. By contributing his time and energy he has shown that The Office Games is committed to giving back to the community.

September 22nd will be the first of these monthly meetings organized by San Diego Social Magazine and will continue every 3rd Tuesday of each month indefinitely. Students from the PRYDE will enjoy a day of fun at The Office Games facility, all the while learning valuable computer skills to assist them later in life.
